As a dedicated fashion editor at Always Chasing Rainbows, my core mission is to become your ultimate personal stylist and shopper (at least in my head anyway). I believe that fashion should be a source of joy and self-expression, and I strive to translate this philosophy into every piece of content I create. My goal is to provide you with a wealth of sartorial inspiration, helping you navigate the ever-evolving landscape of trends while always encouraging you to cultivate a style that is uniquely your own.

Today, I am absolutely thrilled to unveil three distinct summer outfits, meticulously styled by moi, but specifically for you. Each ensemble has been thoughtfully curated by incorporating the freshest and most exciting summer arrivals from some of my most treasured retailers: Nordstrom, Revolve, Reformation, Mango and Madewell including top-tier retailers like Net-A-Porter, Farfetch, Ssense and Saks Fifth Avenue. A sophisticated wardrobe starts with versatile, timeless pieces. Essential items include a classic white t-shirt, cotton poplin shirts, and multi-purpose black trousers. Elevate these basics with refined textures such as satin shorts or satin skirts. And what about accessories, you ask? No problem. Accessories define personal style. Opt for unique footwear like the Aeyde Ilvy Zebra-Print Mules or The Row’s leather flip-flops, select a woven leather basket bag and finish the look with sculptural earrings for understated elegance. These summer outfits are designed to offer versatility, comfort, and undeniable style, perfect for various summer occasions—from relaxed weekend outings to more formal evenings; demonstrating how effortlessly they can be integrated into your existing wardrobe to ensure your summer outfit game is strong.

Explore our curated summer attire below suitable for a diverse range of events, from casual sun-drenched weekends to formal soirées. Each complete ensemble is on the high end, with many budget friendly alternatives coming in at under $100. Happy shopping!

Coming from the office straight to dinner and drinks, this outfit is inspired by a Parisian look above combined with a blazer for those hot summer nights in the city.

My go-to styling for sophisticated, effortless charm is an unbuttoned shirt layered over a base. This particular combination strikes a perfect balance between polished elegance and relaxed nonchalance, making it incredibly versatile for various occasions.

Lace shorts are a popular trend right now, blurring the lines between intimate apparel and everyday wear. I love the juxtaposition of styling the ultra-feminine lingerie with an oversize menswear button down. Here, I'd probably tuck in the shirt for balance.

It's no secret that as editors, we're sent tons (and I mean tons) of beauty products. Our universal routines are in constant flux, and even if we like a particular product we try, it rarely—if ever—stays put as a permanent staple within our regimens.

Fundamentally, a product we’re infatuated with that actually works on improving our complexion in one way or another (altleast for me) are often as rare as earthquakes or environmental accidents for us. However, every so often, we do reach the bottom of a certain jar or tube—whether it's due to irrevocable obsession or because we simply didn't find another product that was all that much better. (Some products seem to perpetually fall into the bucket of "meh.") Obviously, we're much more focused on an alternative option.

By now, you've probably surmised we test-drive a lot of beauty products here at Always Chasing Rainbows. From nail polish and makeup to hair and skincare, we're knew-deep in all things new, exciting, and wish list–worthy. That said, due to the number of products we come in contact with, we've become very selective beauty consumers. Within seconds, we can tell if a new hair oil is too heavy, and we're quick to ignore a serum that yields disappointing results.

The good news? We can't wait to spread the beauty gospel to all of our fellow beauty lovers (that's you!) when we do stumble upon a product we love. From there, we'd decide which of those we'd actually buy again because they were just that impressive. Sharing is caring, so just below, you can see the products our editors couldn't get enough of and immediately added to their carts once they arrive at a singular conclusion.

We have an entire laundry list of products we simply can't leave home without, but an especially long one of beauty favorites I can't picture packing in my carry-on without. As such, I scour sites to find the best beauty items. I start early—weeks out—so my online shopping cart is stocked and I'm poised and ready to purchase.

We are sharing all summer beauty-priced picks, from skincare products to cosmetics, to makeup for your makeup bag, in every category at our favorite retailers Sephora, Merit beauty, Nordstrom, Myteresa, body care and fragrance to buy before your next booked vacation. Keep scrolling!
